A short hike to the Sundews lookout to see the rocky outcrops and the river flowing through the Onkaparinga Gorge. Sundews Ridge Hike is a moderate loop trail that runs along the ridge top, returning to the car park without descending to the river.

Pioneer Women’s Trail 22km length is designed for walkers mainly following country roads, laneways and bush tracks through a delightful section of the Adelaide Hills with historic homes, deciduous trees and native bushland.

40 acres of vines were burnt. All the wine making equipment is gone. All wine in oak was burnt, as was 1000+ cases of bottled stock. managed to get water back to about 7.5 acres (about 1/5 of total plantings) and have seen some green shoots begin

We established our South Australian Artwine brand in 2008 after many years of vineyard production and the planting of new-emerging varieties on our  vineyards. Also called "Alternative varieties" these are the new,to Australia Mediterranean varieties

Our property is black but miraculously the winery is still standing. We take a holistic approach to our winemaking. In the cellar, experimentation of method is essential to discover the potential of terroir and variety.

Cudlee Creek Bush Fire has burnt all of Barristers Block Adelaide Hills Vineyard Cellar Door was undamaged and they still have quality wines available.

Friday 20th December the Cudlee Creek bushfire swept through our property destroying 21 years of hardwork. We will rebuild, replant and get back on track! We need your help to get us there. Thank you!

Approximately 30% of Howard Vineyard's Lobethal Vineyard was burnt. Our Cellar Door is a warm, welcoming environment where you are welcome to share our wines and eat our food.

We began Bird in Hand in 1997 with the ambitious goal of making wines that rank among the world’s finest. Inside of a generation, we have achieved our objective, more or less. Along the way, we’ve learned so much about everything else we love.

Best way to help a winery is to buy their wines in time of devastation. If we could get 1000 cases of our wine over the next 6 months sold direct it would help fund the rebuild costs. Buying our wines direct through our online shop will assist most.

We have suffered quite a lot of damage to the property, but thankfully our house and sheds remain untouched. City Cellar Door, 87 King William Road, Unley We are ever grateful and indebted to our own staff who stayed or returned to fight the fire.
